Further to our advisory dated 21st March 2025, we would like to reiterate that uploading E-Shipping Bills through the ODeX platform is a mandatory requirement for completing the SDM filing in accordance with the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment Regulations (SCMTR).

We have been communicating the importance of submitting required documents through ODeX platform as well as Shipping Instructions through Maersk Web within cut-off time since SDM Go-Live dates in Visakhapatnam, Kolkata and Haldia ports as it enables carrier to comply SDM filling in time as per SCMTR regulation. Despite our continuous customer onboarding effort, a significant number of shipments are missing timely submission of documents which is interrupting timely filling of SDM as well.

With a view to ensuring timely submission of SDM, Maersk will be implementing a Late Document Submission fee of USD 100 per shipment effective from 21^st August 2025 for the shipments which will miss the set deadline of submitting required documents through ODeX platform.

The objective of implementing this charge is to get the accurate documents in time through ODeX platform enabling carrier to file SDM in time and avoiding any rolling of the shipment. Therefore, we request you to submit the accurate Documents through ODex within the cut-off time for every vessel so that you can avoid this Late Document Submission Fee.

Reiterating Key Process for E-Shipping Bill Submission via ODeX:

• Customer must upload Shipping Bill data and enter all required accurate information directly on the ODeX portal.
• Submission will be reviewed by Maersk support team. Customer will receive a status notification e.g. Approved or Rejected with appropriate reason from ODeX platform.
• If it is rejected, customer needs to find the rejection reason and re-submit correcting the same.
