In response to evolving market conditions and the growing intricacies within global logistics and supply chains, which result in extended handling times throughout your cargo's end-to-end life cycle, we are implementing a mandatory surcharge for Export cargo management. This adjustment is necessary to uphold our commitment to providing you with the exceptional service you deserve while adapting to the challenges posed by the current landscape.

This surcharge covers the management and handling of your cargo, including allocation to achieve a better customer experience and the coordination of your Inland moves and Customs. The coverage provides you with a single point of contact that you connect with, when required.

New mandatory tariff rate: USD 35 per container for Export cargo

Effective date: The new booking handling fee is applicable and effective as below:
Non FMC containers: ETD – Estimated Time of Departure as from May 15, 2024 onwards
FMC containers: ETD – Estimated Time of Departure as from May 20, 2024 onwards

BKS – Booking services

Applicability: all Export shipments for all container types and all commodities moving out of the Nordic area (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). Excluding Reefer cargo. For OOG the tariff is double.

Coverage:

• Booking management of export cargo out of the Nordic countries, including exceptions management, notifications, coordination of Inland Haulage and customs, if purchased with Maersk.
• Allocation management, including forecast follow-up as well as exceptions to achieve a better customer experience.
• Single point of contact in Customer Experience.
