As President of Maersk’s North America region - the company’s number one market, and a member of Maersk’s Executive Leadership Team, Charles leads the North America team on its journey to connect and simplify global supply chains for customers large and small. Responsible for both the operational and commercial strategy for the region, Charles spends his time listening to customers’ end-to-end logistics needs and collaborating with his team to help businesses work smarter and achieve a strategic edge in the marketplace.

Charles has extensive international experience in both emerging and mature markets and the ability to create winning supply chain solutions for the world’s leading brands. After beginning his logistics career at DHL in 2000, he went on to hold both operational and commercial leadership positions across the globe at Maersk since joining the company in 2011. Those include COO Damco Europe (2011-2014), CCO Damco Europe (2014-2016), CEO Damco IMEA (2016-2019), and North America Head of Sales and Marketing (2019-2023).
